Dr. Hodges has been serving DFW for a number of years. His work as a licensed clinical psychologist includes conducting bariatric evaluations, psychological testing, and individual psychotherapy. He treats a number of mental health disorders and provides a neutral ground for his patients.
Our primary focus is helping bariatric patients navigate their weight loss journey. From the initial preoperative evaluation to on-going bariatric counseling, Dr. Hodges utilizes his skills in psychological assessment and psychotherapy to help his patients achieve their weight loss goals.
We promise to be there for you every step of your journey. The relationship that Dr. Hodges builds with his patients is one of the most important aspects of therapy. Dr. Hodges helps patients achieve greater self-awareness and develop the knowledge and skills necessary to make significant positive changes in their lives.
The process of seeking out and following through with surgery can be quite stressful. The preoperative evaluation provides the surgeon with a thorough assessment of personality variables known to mediate the stress of postoperative recovery.
In addition to bariatric behavioral health counseling, Dr. Hodges also offers individual therapy for the treatment of anxiety, depression, and other common disorders. He draws from his training and experience in Cognitive-Behavioral therapy (CBT) and Short-Term Psychodynamic therapy.
